Information Systems and Computer Applications CLEP Test Description
The Information Systems and Computer Applications CLEP test covers the information taught in a beginning level (101) college course that is one semester or 3 credit hours. This test covers a lot of vocabulary and basic concepts having to do with computers and software. You will not be tested on specific software packages such as Microsoft or Corel. You WILL be tested on knowing what a spreadsheet is vs. a presentation, etc.

Those of you that are savvy with computers will do very well on this test. With most people already understanding the basics of how computers work and the prevalence of email and the internet this makes this test a very easy and quick test to take. A review of the material you already know and some you didn't and you will be on your way.
