Social Sciences & History CLEP Test Description
The Social Sciences and History CLEP test covers the information that
is taught in several introductory college courses including geography,
politics, US History, world history, psychology, sociology, Western Civilization,
and economics.
You will be tested on concepts and vocabulary on these topics. In addition,
40% of the test consists of questions regarding history.
It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and
every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 100
correct (in most cases) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want
you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
