Natural Sciences CLEP

Natural Sciences CLEP Test Description
The Natural Sciences CLEP test covers the information that is taught in the the first or second year of college based on a number of different physical sciences classes.

You will be tested on many biological topics including the origin of life, the cell, cell division, genes, ecology, population biology, and heredity. You will also be tested on physical science topics. These include thermodynamics, the planet earth, chemical reactions, atomic and nuclear structure, light, sound, heat and more. The test is 50% biological science and 50% physical science.

It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 100 correct (in most cases) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
